CBD is one of the two most prominent molecules – cannabinoids – found in the cannabis plant, the other being the more recognized THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) – the chemical in Marijuana. THC is well-known for its intoxicating effect – the Marijuana ‘high’. CBD, however, doesn’t have any psychoactive properties.
The consumption and use of CBD has been studied and acclaimed for its medicinal properties, and through research, we are discovering its potential for therapeutic use, for numerous medical conditions.
